Easy Okro Soup

Okro‌ ‌soup‌ ‌is‌ ‌a‌ ‌delicious‌ ‌and‌ ‌nutritious‌ ‌vegetable‌ ‌soup. ‌ ‌It’s‌ ‌easy‌ ‌and‌ ‌fast‌ ‌to‌ ‌prepare. ‌ ‌ Okro‌ ‌soup‌ ‌goes‌ ‌well‌ ‌with‌ ‌any‌ ‌swallow and children‌ ‌love‌ ‌it‌ ‌a‌ ‌lot‌ ‌because‌ ‌it is easy to swallow.

Ingredients

4‌ ‌cups‌ or 25 fingers ‌Okra, ‌ ‌Chopped‌
3 tablespoons Palm‌ ‌oil‌
200 grams Beef‌
1 cup Prawns
1 tablespoon Pepper
2 teaspoons Salt
1 Large Onions
1 bunch Pumpkin‌ ‌leaves
2 cubes Seasoning

Directions

  1. Chop‌ ‌the‌ ‌okra, ‌ ‌and‌ ‌the‌ ‌vegetables‌ ‌set‌ ‌aside.
  2. Wash‌ ‌beef, ‌ ‌put‌ ‌in‌ ‌a‌ ‌pot, ‌ ‌add‌ ‌seasoning‌ ‌cubes, ‌ ‌some‌ ‌onions, ‌ ‌and‌ ‌salt.
  3. Add‌ ‌a‌ ‌little‌ ‌water, ‌ ‌bring‌ ‌to‌ ‌boil. ‌ ‌Cook‌ ‌until‌ ‌tender, ‌ ‌adding‌ ‌little‌ ‌water‌ ‌at‌ ‌a‌ ‌time. ‌‌
  4. Add‌ ‌the‌ ‌iced‌ ‌fish. ‌ ‌Cook‌ ‌till‌ ‌done. ‌ ‌ ‌
  5. Add‌ ‌palm‌ ‌oil, ‌ ‌boil‌ ‌for‌ ‌about‌ ‌10‌ ‌minutes. ‌ ‌
  6. Add‌ ‌the‌ ‌chopped‌ ‌okra, ‌ ‌stir‌ ‌well. ‌ ‌Add‌ ‌salt‌ ‌and‌ ‌some‌ ‌water‌ ‌if‌ ‌needed. ‌Cook‌ ‌for‌ ‌about‌ ‌5‌ ‌minutes‌ ‌ (do‌ ‌not‌ ‌cover‌ ‌the‌ ‌pot‌ ‌of‌ ‌okra‌ ‌to‌ ‌prevent‌ ‌it‌ ‌from‌ ‌losing‌ ‌its‌ ‌slimness).
  7. ‌ ‌Add‌ ‌the‌ ‌vegetable; ‌ ‌let‌ ‌it‌ ‌boil‌ ‌for‌ ‌about‌ ‌2‌ ‌minutes. ‌ ‌Turn‌ ‌off‌ ‌heat. ‌ ‌
  8. Serve‌ ‌with‌ ‌Golden‌ ‌Penny‌ ‌Garri‌ ‌or‌ ‌any‌ ‌other‌ ‌Golden‌ ‌penny‌ ‌swallow‌ ‌of‌ ‌your‌ ‌own.
